Why I choose to be ‘delusional’

What if you believed you’re doing the very best you can, that the very best you can do is enough, and that everything is going to work out fine?

Did you know you can just believe that?

With no ‘evidence’ or anyone else agreeing with you?

Some people might think it’s ‘delusional’ or somehow irresponsible to think that.

I ask you to consider this: when something isn’t how you want it to be and you think it will never get better, how do you feel? What do you do when you feel that way? Are you taking any helpful actions that might lead to change?

Then consider when you think things are going to work out fine in the end how do you feel? What do you do when you feel that way?

Thinking things are going to work out fine doesn’t mean necessarily that you sit around not trying to change anything – what it means is that you will have the emotion you need to drive your most helpful action.
